One of the air hoses coming off of the intake system is collapsing????? any ideas 2004 mazda tribute

there are 3 hoses coming off the top of the air intake system on top of the
engine.  The one closest to the drivers side sucks its self almost all the way
closed when you start the engine.

The hose has broken down, it needs to be replaced. They make a hose that is designed for this vacuum. I am thinking it runs your power assist for your breaks by where you described the location. Get it looked at.
