I have a 1998 expedition and i wanted to put 22" rims on the truck and i wanted to know if i had to upgrade anything..brakes,suspend,etc??

It all depends on what tires you are planning on mounting on the 22's.. You might check a website like Tirerack.com.. You can plug in your vehicle there and look at the tires you would have to use on the 22's to maintain the original overall tire height and avoid any other changes to the vehicle..
