i'm short and ca't reach the handle topull down the tair gate.

can you suggest a strap i can install to help me pull down the tail gate?

You might check with the dealership on adjustments.....they might be able to adjust the stop when it is up so it does not go so high. Then you could reach it. Or a mechanic might be able to tape a block of wood on the hinge that would adjust the up- stop.

We bought a 2017 Buick Encore and I'm very short also, I couldn't pull the tail gate down without hurting my back, I went to hardware store and bought a short roller brush handle for 1.75 and it works like a charm, I put duct tape on it so it won't scratch anything!! hope that helps.
