I recently replaced the battery and alternater in my1998 ford escort se. Well the battery is dead every morning and I have to get a jump. It starts up, runs great. The next morning dead again? Why???

Here's a trick you can try if you are not good with electrical troubleshooting. First fully charge your battery, you will need two people and some time and patience. Hook up a meter to the battey and you will need to pull fuses one at a time, when you see the volts go up, that will give you a good idea of the circuit that has a short...
