What is the purpose of the PCM Diode located in the underhood fuse box. How can you tell if its good. I know it sends the voltage for the secondary air injection pump

Im only getting 2.81 volts to my Air Pump and thats what im getting when the pcm diode
is in its place. I would like to know what role it plays for making my air pump work.2000

your only going to get minimal voltage until the solid state relay boost it up to 12. so if your only getting minimal voltage check the solid state relay for yur problem
