2001 lincoln ls v8 overheating only when driving

My car is overheating the water pump is
good the fans work the resavor  bottle is
new and thermostat is new what's going on?

are you sure that the system is air free? keep topping off the radiator. once that is done if you still overheat , you may have a bad head gasket. have a pressure test done.
