transmission checking procedure 2001 lincoln ls v8 auto trans.

put it in park with the engine running...pull the transmission stick and there are two marks one for FULL HOT and one for FULL COLD....be sure that the level is correct...should never lose any transmission fluid...if it does will be the rubber connection to the radiator~ be sure the engine is running when you check...preferably warm....check smell and color...both should be pleasant~
