i have a 2001 lincon ls 6cl my car was running good and than my lights stay on wont turn of my dinger ion the car stayed on and now the insterment panales go cvrazy now it shows piower but when i go to start it all lights shut off and car wont start can you please help me

Get a good strong high volt light tester go to the battery clamp the tester to negative side on batt. Pull the relay fuse last one on the left and insert the tip of light tester in the right side hole basically you need to pop the barker you will hear a click to check and make sure it popped test tiny fuses last row in the back of fuse box the alarm might sound if so take key insert in door and unlock turn twice so all doors unlock then put key in ignition and should start right up my husband figured that out when we got stranded inside storage unit gates batt died when we went to jump it it did nothing no lights no power sounds crazy but works!!!!!!! must try it!!!!!!!

OK, 2000 Linclon Ls V8, wife and I were driving down the road when we noticed the dash lights and the headlights were dimming. managed to get it to the side of the road before everything, dash, radio, headlights, everything died. Car was still running, but bearly. Friend came by and gave me a jump and it ran fine all the way to my inlaws house, about 15 miles away. When we left there, the car did the same thing again. I'd like to thank larry quigly for the gas advice and silveysales also. You guys helped me so much. Now I have another question for you guys if you can help. I just had the dealership do a tune up. I.E., spark plugs and coils. Now prior to the tune up, the car had NGK spark plugs and coils before it burnt out. I noticed good if not great gas mileage when those were in. Now the dealership changed the spark plugs and coils. They installed bosch platinums. Don't konw if they're the regular platinums or platinum plus. Should I continue to leave it with bosch platinums? or should I switch out the bosch for NGKs? please advise. I love my Lincoln LS and want to get the best gas mileage out of this V8 monster. 1 Answer

I like the bosch platinums but for some reason they don't last long. they didn't last long on my eclipse and im questioning it if I should have these bosch spark plugs removed to place NGK's in them.
