Where is the ambient air temperature sensor located?

In the big hose that goes from the air filter box to the throttle body. You'll see an electrical plug on the side of the hose. That's the sensor. It's actually called the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor. Hope that helps! Jim

Thanks Jim, but that's not the sensor I was looking for. That sensor gives info back to make sure the engine runs properly. I FOUND IT!!! The ambient air temperature sensor shows the EXTernal temperature inside the car on the climate control. It is located just forward of the hood latch in the engine compartment. In order to get to it, you'll need to remove the hood latch temporarily, replace the sensor, then re-install the hood latch.
