I stopped to put in oil I took off the
radiator cap why I don't know and for
got to put it back on. I did drive a short
distance and then that's when I noticed
that it was running hot so I stopped
and let it cool off. Now it keeps going
up to the H. Added coolant and oil let it
sit then my fiance drove it to work and
it was fine when he got ready to come
home it did it again the only thing it
says is low oil pressure can someone
offer advice on what to do or what they
think it might be thanks in advance for
the help

Double check the levels and mixtures!!! Too much oil can make the engine overheat. Make sure your oil level is at the correct level by checking the fill on the dip stick. Check the oil level when the car is off and sitting for a few minutes to let the oil drain to the pan. Check the coolant level and it's very important to have a 50/50 mix. Meaning 50% coolant and 50% "distilled" or clean water. If the mixture is not correct, it will not have the properties to cool correctly.

No knocking noise but it does hiss like you can hear it and sounds as if I hose is clogged but we are not sure and the low oil pressure sign comes on will it make the car keep running hot cause after we put 2 quarts of oil and filled the coolant to capacity and it was fine yesterday when he drove it to work when he got in it this morning to come home after driving for about 20 minutes it started to run hot
