2005 Lincoln Navigator misfiring and shaking

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Has anyone had this problem with their truck
because the diagnostic keep telling me camshaft
and I replaced both of them and spark plugs and
wires and it's still doing the same thing also it now
has a very strong exhaust smell check engine light
is also on.

P3040, P3030 I believe those are the codes I'm trying to remember them but I'm going to look them up to be sure

Okay here on the real coats PO345,340,344,349,420,430,171 I got both coats about 2 months ago and now the coats I get are PO340, PO171 I'm changed out both cam sensors and put a tune- up on it but still doing the same thing the only difference is it has a stronger exhaust smell to it.

I have the same problems identical problems it has to do with the timing chain tensioner timing guard replace it I haven't got to mind as yet but I tried changing fuse relay and the same thing keep popping up

Have u checked the fuel injector or erg valve? It could be open or clogged witch can cause car to isfire
