Jerks when going into 3rd or 4th drive.

Lincoln LS 2005. Car jerks into 3 or 4 th , automatic
transmission. Just got it and old owner said he changed 4
out of 6 spark plugs and coil packs but couldn't get to the
other 2. Could it be the 2 spark plugs that haven't been
changed? Or maybe a transmission issue? Also, had
some missing fuses, I changed them all but now my
battery is draining very quickly. Any thoughts or help is
appreciated!

Forget the fuses or spark plugs ,that a transmission issue ,and will only get worse , don't forget the trans is 12 years old ..Did you check your Trans Fluid to see if its low or that it smells burnt ..

My 2005 Lincoln LS blows the #6 fuse in the fuse box, an E appears in the area where the gear you're in normally shows, cruise control stops working and the car goes into either 3rd or 4th gear and won't change into anything other than reverse. OK, 2000 Linclon Ls V8, wife and I were driving down the road when we noticed the dash lights and the headlights were dimming. managed to get it to the side of the road before everything, dash, radio, headlights, everything died.
