Someone purchased my car and did not pay in full

Asked by GuruJ1FV9 Sep 08, 2020 at 11:19 AM about the 2013 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 300 Sport Sedan 4MATIC

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

the remaining amount of 1000 dollars has not been paid - was suppose to
receive through ail - over 10 days Not answering email or calls what recourse
do I have - I did meet them thru carguru on your message board what
assistance can YOU provide - cause I sense I am out that money - if so your
service will be recommended when hell freezes over

Did you give them the car and title with just a promise of payment? I doubt you will ever hear from them again. You can blame CG's but they did not make you give the buyer the car without full payment. Contact CG's but I doubt they can do anything for you.

Shame on you for releasing the vehicle and title before you received payment in full! Consider yourself lucky. A friend did that and got nothing for his car! Try customer service at user_support@cargurus.com but I doubt there's anything they can do. Hope that helps! Jim
