Are extended warranties a benefit on new car? Should I but it from the dealer or another source?

I bought the extra warranty on my car and it was a waste of money. I tried to use it to get a repair done and they still wanted me to pay an extra deductible.

If you intend to buy an extended warranty, buy if from the dealership. Many aftermarket warranties are scams. You may be able to negotiate a better price on a warranty from a dealership.
