Gallons per miles it says 54 on highway

My new 2018 is only getting 36.6
mpg and I drive 30 minutes on
highway to work I've tried going
slower at take off and coasted to
stops nothing changes it
sometimes gets worse my 2016.
Did same thing after the first yrs
Toyota Just kept telling me it was
my driving .finally someone did a
diagnosed test and the reg battery
was shot alteady AFTER only 18
months them it went back to
getting good milage again but this
new one is only got 1100 hundred
miles on it why so poor on gas
