My car makes a loud compressing noise and wont accelerate

Dark patches are left behind after being parked.
When I turn it out my car makes a loud
compressing kind of hissing sound and when
running the car wont go more than 10 mph even if
I step on the gas.

What are the dark patches? Oil, coolant? If the noise is exhaust system related take it to a good muffler shop.
