Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I have lights on kia sorento and apply brakes the back right light goes out.  What would cause this?   Lights work fine,  when lights are off and brakes applied works fine.  only when lights are on and brakes applied does the right back light go out.

Sounds like a ground issue. Ensure the ground is good on the brake lights and backup lights.

Sorento has ground wire issue that caused our rear lights to keep going out. Dealer replaced grounding wire for free. No more issues.
