I'm having the same problem. My dash lights and tail liguts go off after I open a door and won't come back on until I restart the car.

I don't know the answer but my tail lights and dash lights go off when I open the driver door but I do not have to restart my 2001 Kia Sedona...when I shut the door I just turn them back on again. There is a bolt that came out of the door jamb itself but it is a very hard one to put back in and I wondered if that was the issue
