Prying and working with it after removing the motor mount and jacking motor up at an extreme ankle. This is before they notched the bracket that the alternator bolt slides into and causes a tight pinch with the frame. helpful hint after removing the alternator place the bolt back in and tighten down then use a die grinder and shave the excess length of the bolt until it is flush with the alternator ear. Then remove bolt and reinstall, alternator and bolt should go in easier.
