This doesn't sound like a relay, but more like a latch assembly that is not releasing. The clicking is the attempt of the latch assembly to release itself but it is not successful. You may have a problem with your Body Control Module, which controls the electronic locks, or you may need a replacement latch assembly. Further diagnosis would be possible using a DRB scanner to see if the BCM is storing any codes related to your problem.

Mine has something to do with the gear shift not making contact in the park position. Try moving forward or backward and hitting the unlock button. Not sure on the fix yet.

I was having similar intermittent door lock issues on my 2014 Kia Sorento then yesterday I woke to find my battery dead! Got a jump and proceeded to Auto Zone to get a new battery ... low and behold my door locks are working flawlessly so far. Could it be when your battery is beginning to fail that the door locks start to fail? Is it a safeguard to delegate power from unnecessary accessories to starting the engine? Just a thought folks !

I can unlock my car with the faab but not lock them. That's with both door and faab. Is this a fuse problem or internal?

Mary, did you find the issue? Mine will not manually lock with the fob, wil not lock manually by hitting the lock button or even with putting the key in the lock but i can lock it by remote start. Car unlocks just fine. Any ideas?
