2005automatic shifterr goes in to low without pusking knob

my 2005 xl sorento  goes in to low without knob shifter being pushed in i was driving and it
went in to low . the knob was bumped with purse but it should  have not moved with out
pushing button on shifter knob.

It will move without pushing knob,knob is there only from removing from park or reverse.All other gears you can just bump it in to with out knob.
