Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced by quadrajet carb to a edelbrock 1406. The RPM gauge was
working but now it doesnt. Its a 305 engine. Car shifts, runs, and stops perfect
but RPM not working. Is there a vaccum line that involves this? The RPM
guage does move when turning car on and off though.

Check your work. You probably disconnected a wire to the distributor or coil.
