Passenger Door

Asked by GuruTM216 Jul 22, 2018 at 12:33 PM about the 2016 Hyundai Tucson 2.0L Premium FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The passenger door will not unlock from inside after the car has been driven.
Have tried all the different settings but makes no difference. Any suggestions?

That is a "feature" of the Tucsons. The driver has to unlock them. I believe it is supposed to be for child safety.

Open door from outside and look along door edge. You’ll see an image of a child. Use key to turn counter clockwise so it is not pointing to the child image. Ta da!!!
