93 jeep Cherokee

My boyfriend just replaced the distributer cap and
changed the valve cover gasket...now it wont
start...tested for spark(which it is giving) and its
getting fuel... Cranks but wont start? Any ideas?

He must have bumped a wire loose while working on it. If you have spark at the plug that's good. But I was thinking that the rotor inside the distributor cap was left out or not in place right.
