what r the most common fix. did anyone ever hear using silicone on intake n exhuast gasket will fry ur o2 sensor

I had just change intake n exhuast manifold gasket never had check engine lite b4 now I do.Also sprayed off int. w solvent and painted it.Where is map sensor there is something on fire wall w vac. line going 2 itWould the silicone burn off I,ve driven probly 100 miles that I could just change o2 sensor

what i ment by burnoff was will i have to take off manifolds and scrape off silicone from there.Is there any thing other than the vac line in the intake that would go bad from the map sensor or is it all on fire wall

thanks replaced o2 sensor did nothing w silicone (but it was on there for 3 days) no more code 51 and it passed pittsburgh pa emission
