The dim lights on my car dies and come on randomly. Sometimes the one is
only a faint glow and the other dead or both are just a glow. How ever the
high beams are most of the times ok but sometimes one is less bright as the
other. this phenomenon switch sides randomly........the car has been fitted
with aftermarket power steering and a/c....... just bought the car privately

maybe alternator not putting out enough, have your alternator checked.
