loses power while accelerating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When driving from a stop car seems to be fine but as the RPM's climb and press harder on the pedal the car
faulters/stumbles, in which it will not accelerate, making me back off of the pedal to slowly(very slowly)
accerate

If it's a manual, I would guess at a clutch... if it's burned up, it would slip when accelerating harder.

If you don't mind me asking, what was done to fix the problem.. I'm having the same issue

im having the same issue. go to pull out on the road and put the pedal to the metal and it sounds like im hauling ass but im getting more rev then actual accelleration. i tried replacing the 10amp fuse for the tcm and it work only momentarly. but is right back todoing the same thing all bark and no bite.. following to help me also
