1997 jeep cherokee sport heater fan not working

Asked by canniff Dec 19, 2016 at 11:07 PM about the 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

bought a cheap cherokee sport 4wd for my kid. The fan only work on "4" or full
blast since we purchased it. Now it doesn't work at all. Does this make have a
fan switch I can replace? or is it the whole control panel that needs to be
replaced. My guess is blower and resistor work but have a bad switch.

there are resistors by the blower motor check them since you only could operate it on high those coil resistor are probably bad. tap the blower lightly see if it starts, check all relays fuses and fan controls
