Intake manifold

Asked by MisterBee Dec 26, 2017 at 01:52 PM about the 1999 Ford Mustang GT 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Coupe RWD

Question type: General

I have a ‘99 Mustang GT 35TH and the Intake manifold
cracked at the thermostat housing. I’m wanting to go with
a performance Intake and increase the horsepower, I
found a bbk Intake that will increase the horsepower by
21 hp and I was hoping to get it up to 300 hp total. I
would appreciate any suggestions.

I would read up on the intake manifold specs on Mustang forums and on the manufacturers website.

For more power look into exhaust systems, bigger throttle bodies, intake systems etc.
