heate blowing cool air

Asked by freestoner May 24, 2007 at 03:09 PM about the 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced my heater core and think I got the blend air door stuck.I have the dash and all back together, before I go all the way back in to the heater/ac housing I was wondering if cutting the AC lines and not repairing them would in any way affect the heater not heating. Thermo is fine and no clogs in cooling system and blower works fine and vacum lines fine all plugs plugged and all control panels knobs respond but not the temp change knob, it stays one temp.
