i have a 99 cherokee 4.0 it suddenly wont start but cranks over just fine ,

it doesnt appear to be getting gas into the throttle body and also i noticed the charging gauge on dash reading low when i try to start. this also just started with this problem. i am guessing fuel pump at this point but dont understand why suddenly charging is reading low at same time .

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge how many PSI if Ok, Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.
