2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Stalls

Asked by Jeepedoff Jul 10, 2016 at 06:36 PM about the 2000 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited stalls
while driving or when revving it while
parked, no matter what the weather
conditions or speed of the vehicle. It
showed error codes for the ignition coils
and crank shaft position sensor. Changed
both parts and also changed the throttle
position sensor. The fuel pressure is good.
It still stalls while driving and is much
worse. Please help I can't afford to keep
replacing parts that aren't the problem.

Check and replace air filter if necessary, add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank and replace fuel filter if have not done so in awhile. Also clean throttle with throttle body cleaner.

2000 Cherokee 6 cyl. I had that and i went and bought a new coil. At the same time i upgraded the fuel injectors and installed new plugs. The car took off like a jet and great on gas. So much power and has run flawlessly for over 3 years since the install. I recommend this fix for all Cherokees.
