2002 Jeep Wrangler ever so often while driving my airbag light comes on for about 30 seconds then goes off does anyone know why?

It could very likely be a device that's known as a "Clock spring". It connects the Driver's Air Bag electrically and allows for the steering wheel to rotate while keeping that connection. It may have developed an intermittent open circuit. Because Air Bags are Explosive, I strongly recommend having a qualified Technician address your Air Bag concern.
