ow im taking it out of 4 wheel drive right but it seems to be geting stuck in 4 wheel drive even after i take it out

i have a 2002 jeep liberty i have had to replace the drive shaft two times i
know im taking it out of 4 wheel drive right but it seems to be geting stuck in 4
wheel drive even after i take it out
