99 ford explorer won't start

Also I can get it to start just for a second if I poor gas into the air intake or starting fluid which doesn't make since its getting gas so why does it not start unless I poor it directly into it

Thanks sounds helpful because I know it runs when I pour gas in it or stating fluid I've been trying to find a diagram of my fuse box's to locate the injection fuses but haven't been able too not sure what the data scanner is an how to go about that but hopefully o won't have to I'm assuming because I had to clean out the tank an then the lines to get gas to make it to the top that they are clogged up but I would need to find the fuse to be sure they are getting g power first I'm not a skilled mechanic by any means just trying trail an error Intel I can locate the problem thanks for the help
