WHAT am I missing? PLEASE help-

Asked by ugly1 Aug 31, 2015 at 01:52 PM about the 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced a license plate bulb 'cause it was out, & still is. The passenger's side
running/parking lights work. NONE of the driver's side. The brake lights, except
the center one, the 4 way/Emergency flashers ALL work fine! I checked fuse #7
& #9 on the driver's side fuse block. ALL good!

You look to have a short on the drivers side. You will need a meter to looking for the short. Check to see if you have a proper ground on the side of the car...

Thanks for the answer!! How about if I just run a NEW ground wire to the body some where? Finding the bad/loose connection is NOT easy.....

The brake lamp has a plastic piece in the lense that has fallen off and is laying on your bulb which causes the bulb too overheat and explode. Remove the plastic from the inside of the lense too fix brake lamp/ running lamp issue.
