Is the CEL on? Your engine may need a tuneup or perhaps the fuel system is gummed up. Put fresh gas in it and a good fuel system cleaner like Techron.

Go have it attached to a code reader and look up the codes. I had that type of thing happening and it was a bad spark plug and bad ignition coils.
The Jeep has sat for a month starts and runs fine till warm up then the engine misfires on acceleration loads rough ldle. Whats Wrong?
