I am leasing a 2017 gmc terrain and i have 3 more
years to go, can i break the lease and get a new
car?

3 more year to go on your lease and you want to break it? What were you thinking when you leased it???

Go back to the dealer and talk to them about getting out of the lease. If it is milage you are worried about, will what it costs to get out of the lease be less than the over milage you use? Perhaps a compromise can be reached if you buy the Terrain from them, or another car and pay a small penalty. The dealer holds all the cards on these lease contracts.
