If your engine has been installed with any High Performance items, Cam, Headers, Turbo or such if you drive even a mile or so just to run in the store real quick then just as quick you come out turn the key and grrrrr then nothing. You just have to wait for approx. 5-15 minutes until it cools down and is ready to get in the race again. I had never heard of this happening until 2 years ago when I bought a 1969 Chevy Chevelle. Can be a real problem if you are already late and now you just have to hurry up and wait.
