The wipers are connected with linkage from the wiper motor. Check all of the linkage and make sure it's intact. The spline shaft that comes up through the vent cowl may have broke or stripped out as well as check the wiper arm itself. Could have broke or stripped out.

Mark.. I took off the arm...it looks like it has no splines inside. The splines on the mount are fine. I called the parts store, they said the new arm has no splines in it at all. Do I just re-install the arm and tighten it some more?

Ok....youtube video said to use a lock washer and or some epoxy to glue the arm so it won't shear as easily. It's designed to shear off to save the motor. Thanks for your help.
