I'm looking to purchase a 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport. It has a ton of miles 200k so my question is if the car is well maintained regularly can I save it from crashing on me.

NO, do you see how fast I answered your question. 200,000 miles and a Jeep don't work well together. Plus, Jeeps are some of the lowest rated vehicles in Consumers Reports every year. http://www.carcomplaints.com/Jeep/Liberty/2004/
