Asked by Breeze4444 May 31, 2019 at 04:45 PM about the 1999 Ford Explorer 2 Dr Sport 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car won't start and the security dash light is flashing.
Turns over. Just got the car.
didn't notice the light on before.
Battery was too weak to start so I changed it out.
Now this..   THANKS..  STAN..

THANKS.. The battery is fresh. The engine is spinning fast enough. Not being a Ford guy, I thought by disconnecting the battery would have forced the security system to be activated. Where is the fuel pump emerg. shut down button located. Maybe that too. It did get a shove getting unloaded. TKX for your expertise. STAN..
