steering wheel locked in motion, almost killed my niece

Asked by Sheri Aug 01, 2018 at 09:11 AM about the 2017 Jeep Renegade Latitude

Question type: General

has there been any recalls or mentions of the steering wheel locking up  and
nearly killed my niece. i have yet to see my car, she said it locked up and it
made her go towards the right, she couldnt get it to stop or move the wheel
at all.. there needs to be a recall on this Now! and if it was put in the report, i
think the back tires locked up on here as well causing her to spin... shes ok
just badly shaken n bruised.. and none of the airbags went off.. and she was
eventually hit from behind from another car

You can check for recalls thru the vehicles history, try Autocheck or Carfax if the dealer didn't show you one.
