Dome/Map Light Problem in 2017 Ford Transit 250.

Asked by Ryan Apr 19, 2020 at 11:15 PM about the 2017 Ford Transit Cargo 250 3dr LWB High Roof Cargo Van with Sliding Passenger Side Door

Question type: Car Customization

The dome/map lights will not work for the switch or even with the door
opening. I can not get them to work from the van when off or running. The
dome lights can get powered on from a 12 volt source so they are not burnt
out. Trying to check all fuses but and will replace one but it does not make
the lights come on. I did cut some wires from the back cargo lights during a
van conversion but wouldn't think that this would have an impact on the
dome/map lights working. I can attach the 12 volt source to the back and
power the dome/map light.  Any ideas?
