2017 Honda civic

Asked by Habsfan10 Jun 18, 2017 at 06:09 PM about the 2017 Honda Civic LX

Question type: General

I woke up to find all my windows down on
my new 2017 Honda Civic. Heavy rain
overnight and car interior totally soaked !
My windows were all up when I locked my
vehicle the night before without a doubt.
Honda needs to be responsible for this
defect. Why is this happening ?

Nope, I locked the doors by pressing the fob once and once only. I walked away to wake up to my windows completely down after a night of heavy rain. ?

You will have a hard time trying to get honda to replace / fix this for you. They will argue its your fault / you left your windows down. Something caused the windows to go down and its very well possible the fob is defecting / sent a signal to roll windows down (IF the fob is capable of doing this). I'd write down the date / take pictures, and also record any future times this happens. Then you will have something solid to present to the dealer.

on your key fob, you just have to click the unlock once and then when you click it a second time and hold the button all the windows and the sunroof will open.
