Forester versus Legacy?

Asked by GuruL4N6J Mar 18, 2019 at 01:51 PM about the 2017 Subaru Forester 2.5i

Question type: General

My 2018 Forester seems much longer and bulkier than my old beloved 2006.  The doors are heavy, especially the back lift up.  How does the Legacy compare in size and handling?  I've considered an Impreza but the ground clearance is much too low for me in my 60s.  Ground clearance of Forester vs Legacy?

1 Answer

The ground clearance for the Legacy is about 3 1/2" less. The Legacy is a smaller car. If you sell your 18 Forester now you will lose a lot of money!
