2017 Rogue transmission

Asked by Rone2017 Aug 24, 2019 at 04:14 AM about the 2017 Nissan Rogue SL AWD

Question type: General

I recently purchased a 2017 Rogue. My question is about the transmission. When cruising at 75 mph upon encountering hills, the rpm's go up and sometimes get quite high ( 4,000 ) until reaching the top of the hill. Is this normal with the CVT? Or is there a problem?

I would say normal due to the CVT, but maybe other owners can chime in.
