That's entirely up to the dealer selling the vehicle, some are up front about additional fees, some are as crooked as a dog's hind leg. Pay attention to reviews and what are typical fees and which are bogus. "Lot fees" tend to be just another way for them to tack on a few hundred bucks after all was said and done. However, nothing can be tacked on AFTER you signed loan papers, so be sure to review EVERYTHING in writing. Be sure to look at the APR loan amount, the total costs of the loan, all fees, etc., and question everything. A fee for temporary tags and registration is normal. You'll be expected to pay the title transfer fee. New car dealers tend to follow accepted practices (at least here in the US), the used car lots are where the hijinks tend to take place.
