Are the Brake pads Electronic?

I have a 99 Ford Contour LX I need to buy Brake pads but don't know if this vehicle as and electronic sensor our not.

No,the break pads have a weare indecator on the pad,is a piece of thin metal that rubs the rotor when pads need replaceing.
