i have a 2008 ram 1500 truck, my air conditioner works great for a while then i lose all the air from the vents, if i turn the air conditioner off for about 15 min or so and then turn it back on i have all the air back to the vents and all is good for a little while then starts again. anyone have a clue what it could be

When it works, is it sufficiently cold? Go to the power distribution box, open it n swap the a/c clutch relay with another relay of the same part number, say...the horn relay. See if this makes any difference.

Yes it is very cold just lose all air going out the vents. but the blower motor is still blowing

Sounds like the mode door is changing to defrost mode. The next time this happens, check your defrost vents, are they working when you loose the vent a/c?

No air comes out anywhere!

If you're getting no air anywhere, is the noise that the blower motor makes the only evidence you have the motor is turning? It's possible the blower motor resistor or the motor is bad or both?

I can take the glove box out and I am positive the blower motor is running. When I push the button that turns the compressor off I have air back to the vents. And as long as I wait around 10 min or so I can push the button and turn the compressor back on I have air for maybe 20 min or so then it quits again. It really has me BAFFLED!!! It makes no sense at all to me. I don’t know what turning the compressor off and on us to do with the air flow from the vents?

Is there lotsa humidity where you're at? Is there any water or mist spitting outta your vents before they go dead? Then the next thing to consider is that the evap coil is freezing up. This usually happens when the system is low on freon. Stick some gauges on your system and read the hi and lo pressures while it's still running. I'm guessin' here, but I'll bet your lo side is almost a vacuum n the hi side is reading waaay too low for the ascribed outside air temps.
